Theme: COVID-19: Effects of sudden disruptions on development processes – What can we learn in the context of climate adaptation and rural transformation?
The sudden occurrence of Covid-19, took policy makers by surprise and exposed structural and institutional gaps, as well as generated innovative opportunities. There is not much information on the effect of the pandemic on development processes and strategic solutions needed to minimize the negative impacts and capitalize on emerging opportunities.
The National Policy Dialogue will bring together policy makers, development planners and other stakeholders in Ghana to deliberate on how sudden disruptions such as Covid-19, climate and economic shocks, affect development processes and what strategies are needed in the short, medium and long term to support inclusive and sustainable development.
